LayerZero Power Systems Releases Series 70 ePODs™: Type-N To Manufacture

Chagrin Falls, Ohio (October 9, 2006) LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. has released the Series 70: ePODs™: Type-N Power Distribution System to manufacture. The Series 70 ePODs™: Type-N design provides switching between two independent power sources, while providing power distribution capabilities at the same switching voltage. The Series 70: ePODs™: Type-N utilizes an upgraded design of the ePODs™: Type-N units to take advantage of safety designs that enable thermal scanning with the dead front doors closed.

As part of the Series 70 product line, a high emphasis of the Type-N has been focused on maximizing operator safety when operating the unit, featuring InSight™ IR Portholes, isolated components, and critical electronics protected by Polycarbonate windows. Consistent with the rest of the Series 70 product line, the Type-N has insulated connections that help protect operators.

Series 70: ePODs™: Type-N units are designed to make data center power distribution systems safer and more reliable.
