LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. Unveils eRPPs Waveform Capture To Deliver Advanced Power Monitoring Capability
Chagrin Falls, Ohio (March 15, 2009) LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. releases waveform capture functionality for the Series 70 eRPPs Web-Enabled Remote Power Panel product line. Waveform capture offers data center managers advanced power quality monitoring capability over connected loads that can be accessed remotely.
The Series 70 eRPPs is a web-enabled remote power panel designed for medium to large data centers. The expanded functionality of the Series 70 eRPPs empowers operators with comprehensive power management ability by facilitating the open exchange of power usage data. Waveform capture at the Remote Power Panel level provides the capability to obtain detailed images of all events, which is useful for diagnosing the root cause of faults.
The Series 70 eRPPs offers integrated Ethernet access, permitting secure remote access to waveform captures via a standard web browser. All information generated from the Series 70 eRPPs can be monitored and managed through open protocols, providing data center managers with a flexible means of integrating electrical monitoring using existing equipment.
Waveform capture is also available in the LayerZero Series 70 eSTS Static Transfer Switch and Series 70 ePODs Power Distribution Unit product lines.
