Static Transfer Switch on the Primary Side of Two or More Downstream Transformers with Distribution
The Series 70 ePODs: Dual Type-P provides switching between two independent power sources on the primary side of the transformer, while providing power distribution capabilities, featuring a solid-state transfer switch on the primary side of the transformer with a dual power distribution section, providing the ability to transfer power between two or three sources in quarter of an electrical cycle, while delivering that power to up to 24 sub-feed circuit breakers.
This automatically or manually provides static transfers between two AC sources in less than a quarter cycle, and safely transfers this power downstream. The Series 70 ePODs: Dual Type-P performs open-transition transfer in such a manner that the connected load disruption is minimized without ever cross-connecting the power sources. A power source is specified as the preferred source, and if the preferred source fails, the unit will automatically connect to the alternative source until the preferred source is available again.
The Series 70 ePODs: Dual Type-P features Triple Modular Redundancy, fail-safe mechanics, insight portholes, a touch Screen interface, waveform capture, "black box" forensic diagnostics, voice guided bypass, selective trip coordination, and the SafePanel. The Series 70 ePODs: Dual Type-P line has been developed with an emphasis on reliability, safety, connectivity, and information centricity.
All components of the machine are safely replaceable without the need to de-energize the load.
