Static Transfer Switch On The Secondary Side Of Two Transformers With Distribution

The Series 70 ePODs Type S design provides solid-state switching between two independent power sources each of which has a  transformer feeding  one side of the static transfer switch with  downstream power distribution capability. Up to twelve sub-feed circuit breakers are available. 

LayerZero Type-S design automatically or manually  transfers between two AC sources in less than a quarter cycle, and safely conducts this power downstream. The Series 70 ePODs performs open-transition transfers in such a manner that the connected load disruption is minimized without  cross-connecting the power sources. One power source is specified as the preferred source, and if the preferred source fails, the unit will automatically connect to the alternative source until the preferred source is available again.

The Series 70 ePODs Type-S design features Triple Modular redundant control logic, fail-safe mechanics, InSight portholes, a touch Screen interface, waveform capture, "black box" forensic diagnostics, voice guided bypass procedure, front-only access, selective trip coordination, and the SafePanel. The Series 70 ePODs TypeS line has been developed with an emphasis on reliability, safety, connectivity, and information centricity.

All components of the machine are safely replaceable without the need to de-energize the load.
