This static transfer switch design incorporates three isolated and mutually exclusive copies of each critical board, offering the highest reliability design in the industry.
The Triple Modular Redundant OPTS introduces a powerful approach to availability by combining the reliability of multiple boards into a single system. With reliability levels ten times higher than single modular redundant systems, it enables critical boards to be replaced on energized units, significantly extending the life span of installed equipment when coupled with a renewal system.
The LayerZero Triple Modular Redundant OPTS eliminates all single points of failure through a voting mechanism at the output of each critical board. In the event of a vital component failure, the remaining two control systems ensure the integrity of sensing and switching within the system.
