Streetsboro, Ohio — LayerZero Power Systems has achieved a key construction milestone in the expansion of its Philipp Parkway manufacturing facility, with members of the Leadership Team recently signing and placing the final structural beam to complete the building’s primary steel framework.
This milestone marks significant progress in the construction of LayerZero’s expanding manufacturing footprint in Northeast Ohio. Once completed and commissioned, the facility will strengthen the company’s ability to meet growing demand for mission-critical power solutions from data centers, colocation providers, and AI infrastructure developers.
As artificial intelligence and high-density computing drive substantial expansion across data centers and colocation facilities, LayerZero is scaling production capabilities to deliver the highly reliable power distribution equipment these critical environments require. The Philipp Parkway project will increase manufacturing capacity for the company’s Static Transfer Switches (eSTS), Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Remote Power Panels (RPPs), and INSIGHT IR® continuous thermal monitoring systems.
The beam signing represents another important step in LayerZero’s strategic expansion across the region. It complements the company’s broader investments in Aurora and Streetsboro, including the upcoming grand openings of the Lena Drive and Frost Road facilities, to support operational excellence, future hiring, and enhanced service to customers worldwide.
While the completion of the steel framework represents a major construction milestone, work on the facility remains ongoing, with operations expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026. Additional updates will be shared as the project moves toward completion.
