The Series 70: eSTS is designed in compliance with NFPA 70E safety standards, making it safe for preventive maintenance operations. The inclusion of InSight IR™ Portholes allows for thermal scanning of bolted connections and critical boards while keeping the dead-front closed, minimizing the risk of arc-flash during maintenance. The front-only access design requires minimal clearance and ensures operator safety during maintenance tasks.
The 1200 A eSTS Static Transfer Switch is available in both Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) and Single Module Redundant (SMR) models. LayerZero's patented Dynamic Phase Compensation technology eliminates downstream transformer inrush from out-of-phase transfers when switching on the primary side of the transformer. The fanless and convection-cooled design ensures long-term reliability.
The eSTS Static Transfer Switch is equipped with real-time waveform capture and forensic diagnostics, providing a comprehensive log of power quality history. This feature is invaluable for analyzing disturbances, measuring power quality, and obtaining a detailed sequence of recorded events, all of which can be accessed remotely over TCP/IP.
